重组人R-Spondin-1是一种25.6kDa的蛋白质，由243个氨基酸残基组成。随着类器官领域的扩大，R-Spondin 1被广泛用于类器官细胞培养中，作为促进3D类器官生长和存活的重要成分。R-Spondin-1（Rspo-1）属于Wnt调节剂的（Rspo）家族。目前，该家族由四个结构相关的分泌配体（Rspo 1-4）组成，所有配体都含有弗林样结构域和血小板反应蛋白结构域。Rspo-1在发育中的中枢神经系统的某些区域以及肾上腺、卵巢、睾丸、甲状腺和气管中表达。Rspo可以以刺激Wnt/β-catenin信号通路的方式与Frizzled/LRP6受体复合物相互作用。
