干扰素（IFN）是一个具有强大抗病毒、抗增殖和免疫调节特性的细胞因子家族，根据其对细胞表面受体的结合特异性进行分类。在人类和小鼠基因组中发现了十几种密切相关的IFN-α亚型，每种亚型共享约80%的氨基酸（aa）序列同源性。人类IFNA2、IFNA2a、IFNA2b和IFNA2c有几种变体，它们只相差几个点突变。成熟人IFNA2b的胞外结构域（ECD）与小鼠IFNA2具有59%的aa序列同一性。
